Engagements
Three Ways to Work with Brizmar
Each engagement format is structured, clearly priced, and designed for a specific kind of leadership need. This page describes each format in detail and helps you identify which might suit your situation.

How Brizmar Approaches the Work
Brizmar's approach is non-directive by design. We do not arrive with a framework to apply, a diagnostic to run, or a set of conclusions already shaped. The work begins with what the leader brings — a question, a situation, a matter that has been difficult to examine from inside the organisation.
Each engagement format creates a structured container within which that examination can proceed. The container — the preparation note, the session or sessions, the written reflection — is the methodology. Within it, the conversation follows the question rather than a pre-set agenda.
The written outputs are central to the work. They are not reports or action plans; they are carefully considered written reflections that capture the conversation's themes and offer a few considerations for continued thinking. They are meant to be returned to, not filed away.
Prepared Conversation
Leader prepares; consultant listens and reflects
Direct Observation
Pavilion engagements include working session observation
Written Reflection
Plain-language document delivered after each engagement
Closing Review
Each engagement closes with a review conversation
Engagement One
Veranda Conversation
A single-session veranda engagement structured around a relaxed two-hour conversation between the consultant and the leader, hosted at a quiet location with views of the harbour. The session is preceded by a short preparation note from the leader and followed by a written reflection delivered within ten days.
The intent is to provide an open-air outside counterpart for an unhurried discussion of one matter the leader is carrying. The reflection captures the conversation's themes in plain language and offers a few considerations for continued reflection.
How It Proceeds
Preparation note. The leader writes a short paragraph or two describing the matter they would like to examine.
The session. A two-hour conversation at a quiet location — unhurried, attentive, and shaped by the leader's preparation.
Written reflection. Delivered within ten days — a plain-language document capturing the conversation's themes and a few considerations.
Investment
SGD 210
Per session, invoiced prior to the session. GST not applicable.
Engagement Two
Pavilion Engagement
A six-week pavilion engagement for leadership teams that would value an outside reading of a defined cross-functional question. The work involves structured conversations with team members at multiple levels, observation at relevant working sessions, and a written pavilion document that maps the question across the relevant functions.
The document is offered in measured language and is intended as material for the team's own continued conversation. The engagement is non-directive in posture and includes a closing review.
How It Proceeds
Question framing. The team and consultant agree on the cross-functional question the engagement will examine.
Conversations and observation. Six weeks of structured conversations across levels, with observation at working sessions.
Pavilion document. A written mapping of the question across the relevant functions, in measured language.
Closing review. A final session to discuss the document and close the engagement.
Investment
SGD 760
Per engagement, invoiced in two stages. GST not applicable.
Engagement Three
Year of Open Air Counsel
A twelve-month open-air counsel engagement for chief executives who would value a steady outside conversation across the year, held in a deliberately unhurried register. The arrangement includes a monthly half-day session at a quiet location, a quarterly written reflection, and quiet availability between sessions.
The role is one of patient companionship rather than direction; the consultant accompanies the leader through the year's small shifts and returns with careful written reflection at each quarter's close. Suited for senior leaders who prefer a calm, open register to a structured advisory format.
What the Year Contains
Monthly sessions. A half-day at a quiet location — harbour-side where possible — to take stock of the quarter's questions.
Quarterly reflections. A written document at the close of each quarter — the year's thinking, captured and held.
Quiet availability. Between sessions, the consultant is available for brief exchanges — a question, a consideration, a note.
Investment
SGD 1,265 / month
Monthly invoicing across twelve months. GST not applicable.
